Child Safety Standards for BirdieMate
BirdieMate has a zero tolerance policy for child sexual abuse and exploitation. We do not allow any content, behavior or user activity that exploits, endangers, sexualizes or harms children.
A. Scope
These standards apply to all users and all areas of BirdieMate, including profiles, names, profile images, friend interactions, invitations, shared rounds, live round activity and any other user generated content.
B. Prohibited Content and Behavior
BirdieMate strictly prohibits:
- Any child sexual abuse material
- Any sexual exploitation or sexualization of minors
- Grooming or attempts to contact minors for exploitative purposes
- Requests for explicit content involving minors
- Content that promotes, depicts or encourages harm to children
- Using BirdieMate to share, request, distribute or facilitate child sexual abuse material
C. Reporting Child Safety Concerns
Users can report child safety concerns directly in the app or by contacting us at support@birdie-mate.com.
Reports involving child safety are reviewed with priority. If we become aware of content or behavior that violates these standards, we may remove the content, restrict or terminate accounts and take further action where required.
D. Handling of CSAM
If BirdieMate becomes aware of child sexual abuse material, we will take appropriate action. This may include removing the content, disabling the responsible account and reporting confirmed cases to the relevant regional or national authorities, where required by applicable law.
E. Compliance with Child Safety Laws
BirdieMate is committed to complying with applicable child safety laws and regulations. We maintain internal procedures to review reports, respond to child safety concerns and take action against content or behavior that violates these standards.
